There are fights and brawls pretty often across sports and Major League Baseball. However, Wednesday night saw those events get taken up about ten notches in a Mexican Baseball League. The game between the Toros de Tijuana and Rieleros de Aguascalientes was nearing a conclusion when a hit batter absolutely erupted.

Yikes. Bat was thrown, helmets thrown, and the fight seemed like it was never going to end. It went around basically the entire infield before it finally settled.

As it turns out, the Toros and Rieleros had previous bad blood with each other, and an intentional hit by pitch pushed everything over.

Thankfully the pitcher wasn't hit by the bat, but still a terrible look for sports and the Mexican Baseball League with these two teams.

The game was played in Tijuana and things got out of control and escalated extremely quickly, although both teams had been going at each other and tensions were riding high the entire night.

But wait, these two teams play on Thursday night in another Mexican Baseball League matchup and there is a chance for more fireworks to circulate between these teams. Hopefully, there is not another fight of that magnitude, and perhaps suspensions and fines are being handed out.
