Bryan Reynolds has landed on the injured list with a strained right oblique. The Pirates outfielder was removed from Sunday's 8-6 win over the Milwaukee Brewers with right side discomfort.

Reynolds has been one of the lone bright spots on a bad Pirates team, something that hasn't gone unnoticed by opposing clubs with the MLB trade deadline under a month away.

Jon Heyman of the New York Post detailed the latest rumblings and MLB trade rumors surrounding Reynolds recently, naming five teams that have emerged as suitors.

Bryan Reynolds, 26, won't reach free agency until after the 2025 season, which has teams very interested in his services. The Pirates star has been a strong offensive player in each of the last two seasons, posting wRC+ marks of 142 and 126 in 2021 and 2022, respectively.

However, will teams remain interested even after this oblique injury? It's an ailment that tends to linger, which could potentially quiet the trade rumors down a bit.

Still, the Pirates outfielder should have enough time to get back into action ahead of the August 2 MLB trade deadline to reignite any interest that may have died down during his absence.

It's certainly not ideal. But Bryan Reynolds is likely to still command a hefty amount of trade interest from other clubs come late-July and August.
