One of the biggest offseason moves in the MLB came when the St. Louis Cardinals acquired superstar Nolan Arenado from the Colorado Rockies. The move sent waves throughout the National League Central division, as St. Louis were aggressive in the offseason while teams like the Cubs and the Reds sold pieces off. Arenado says he's moved on, even if that upsets some in Colorado.

Speaking to ESPN, the Cardinals' third basemen didn't mince words in talking about his departure.

“I've moved on. That might hurt some people's feelings over there, but I have,” Arenado told ESPN in an exclusive interview. “They'll always have a special place in my heart, the fans — the people. Regardless of the people that don't like me there, or I don't like them, I appreciate every single one of them. I appreciate the love. I appreciate the hate. I know that I can look back at my years in Colorado and know that I gave everything that I had. I have no regrets. Now I'm here with the Cardinals and I'm going to give them everything I have too.”

It's unknown who is referencing when he mentions the people that don't like him in Colorado, as most fans praised what Arenado contributed to the franchise throughout his years in Denver.

The move came after Arenado's name had popped up on a couple of different occasions in trade rumors over the last year. The Cardinals were the team to pull the trigger.

St. Louis has become the odds-on favorite to win the division since acquiring Arenado.
