In order to earn the Galaxy Opal Tracy McGrady Challenge Reward item, you need to match his career-high 62 points with any player. If you collect GOAT Series Challenge Cards, you earn a free Dark Matter Phil Jackson Coach Card. Fortunately, the challenge is available indefinitely (or when the 2K24 servers shut down)

McGrady played fifteen seasons in the NBA, playing for teams like the Toronto Raptors, Orlando Magic, Houston Rocket, and more. In the mid-2000s, McGrady reached his prime. In back-to-back seasons, he ended the year as the NBA Scoring Champion when playing for the Magic. Afterwards, he enjoyed a lengthy stint with the Rockets, where he enjoyed more successful seasons.

Of course, McGrady is seemingly most remembered for his miraculous comeback against the San Antonio Spurs back in the 2004-2005 season. He managed to score 13 points in 35 seconds as the Rockets' season began to turn around. After the win, the team went on to make the playoffs, where he would go on to make  more memories. But there's more to the man than just a couple of big plays, as he played well through most of his career. Unfortunately, injuries plagued his final years.

Like all the other players in the GOAT Series, there's not much more to say about McGrady that hasn't been said. He enjoyed a successful NBA career. Although he never won an NBA Championship, it still doesn't take away from the impact he made on the court. He makes for an excellent addition to the GOAT Series.
