So… who will win this year’s NBA Slam Dunk Contest? Participants include Aaron Gordon of the Orlando Magic, Derrick Jones Jr. of the Miami Heat, Pat Connaughton of the Milwaukee Bucks and Dwight Howard of the Los Angeles Lakers.
The fact that Howard has decided to participate has drawn quite a bit of attention from the media. The former No. 1 overall NBA Draft pick actually won the event in 2008 with an an impressive set of dunks, including one that featured him wearing a Superman cape.
Will Superman slip into an undisclosed phone booth somewhere to make a return to this season’s Slam Dunk Contest? When asked, Howard kept a tight lip.
"Superman…uh…I can't say nothing. I'm gonna keep that quiet" #LakeShow
