Houston Rockets former MVP winner Russell Westbrook had very little impact on Sunday in what was a historically successful All-Star Game. The 31-year-old — making his ninth All-Star appearance in his career — logged 27 minutes during the contest (second only in his team to Ben Simmons who played 29 minutes), but finished with only six points, three rebounds, and three assists in his rather extended time on the floor.

More importantly, however, Westbrook's side got the win, with Team LeBron able to hold off Team Giannis for a 157-155 victory. After the game, Westbrook was asked about his thoughts on the game, particularly on how the matchup ended courtesy of an Anthony Davis free throw. Russ did not have much to say.

That's a pretty hilarious response from Westbrook, and the above photo perfectly encapsulates the same. His smug face says it all.

Unlike regular season games, the pick-up game-style All-Star matchup was a race to the finish. The first team to reach 157 would be pronounced as the victors, and as it so happens, the winning point came via a rather anticlimactic free throw. This caused a bit of controversy, with some suggesting that this was not the ending such a tremendous contest deserved.

Westbrook did not seem to pay it any mind, though. To him, a win is a win, and this was certainly the case for his team on Sunday. It will be another year of bragging rights for Team LeBron, with the squad now going 2-0 against Team Giannis following Sunday's epic victory.
