Most critics project that LiAngelo Ball won't be picked up by a team come draft night. But in the eyes of Collin Sexton — a top 10 prospect in the upcoming 2018 NBA Draft — Ball will end up with a team before the night ends.

As reported by TMZ, Sexton, Alamaba's standout point guard said:

“He's a good player,” Sexton said Monday. “He can shoot it. He can shoot it real good. He'll wind up at a team for sure.”

Ball, brother of Los Angeles Lakers rising star Lonzo Ball, has worked out with the Lakers. He's slated to do a workout for the Golden State Warriors on June 10.

A report by Sam Amick of USA Sports Today stated that an insider said that the Lakers are not interested in acquiring Ball — both the NBA and its G League counterpart, the South Bay Lakers:

While the Los Angeles Lakers held a workout Tuesday that included the younger brother of starting point guard Lonzo Ball, a person with knowledge of the situation told USA TODAY Sports team officials have no interest in drafting or signing the 19-year-old – for the NBA team or even the G-League team, the South Bay Lakers.

It's your choice whether to believe Sexton's or the insider's claims. Either way, Ball's lofty ambition of making it to the NBA is an uphill battle that is getting steeper by the minute. Whether or not he makes it, he is definitely making his father and brothers proud.
