Via his Instagram account, Stoudemire posted:

If you peep the hashtags, one of them says #NBAReturn. Is the six-time NBA-All Star sending signals to teams that he wants to come back?

Stoudemire retired from the NBA in 2016. But he hasn't stopped playing basketball. From 2016-2017, he suited up for Hapoel Jerusalem B.C. He helped the team win the Israeli Basketball League Cup in 2016.

In the process, Stoudemire was named into All-EuroCup Second Team honors for the 2016–17 season, as well as Israeli League All-Star honors. In addition, he was a critical part in Hapoel Jerusalem journey to win the Israeli League championship in June 2017.

This is not his first time at hinting an NBA comeback. A few months ago, the former NBA Rookie of the Year revealed that he has been keeping himself in shape with intents of playing in the basketball's biggest stage once again. Per CBS Sports' Kevin Skiver, he said:

“After playing last year in Israel — winning the championship there — I wanted to keep myself in shape, so playing in the BIG3 allows me to keep myself in top shape and gets me prepared for the next step,” Stoudemire told CBS Sports. “I'm definitely planning on (coming back to the NBA). I've been training like you wouldn't believe, my body feels great. I had an amazing year last year playing overseas, and so I'm gonna definitely continue to work.”

Stoudemire was drafted straight out of high school in 2002 as the ninth overall pick. In his first 10 years in the NBA, he quickly established himself as one of the most talented power forwards in league history. A string of knee injuries, however, slowed him down during the latter part of his career, forcing him to retire.
