Projected number one overall draft pick Anthony Edwards has signed with Klutch Sports, the same agency that houses Los Angeles Lakers star, LeBron James.

Headed by Rich Paul, Klutch has added another big name to its growing stable. Last Friday, the agency signed Atlanta Hawks star guard Trae Young. Edwards is the second noteworthy client to sign with Klutch in just a matter of days.

Edwards had previously signed with Omar Wilkes of Octagon in late March. However, reports revealed that Wilkes had agreed to become the head of basketball for Klutch Sports, making Edwards part of Paul's agency. Wilkes is also the agent of Cam Reddish of the Atlanta Hawks and OG Anunoby of the Toronto Raptors.

In his lone season with Georgia, Edwards averaged 19.1 points and 5.2 rebounds in 32 games. The 18-year-old is projected to be the first overall pick of the 2020 NBA Draft. In a mock draft by ESPN, he's expected to be picked ahead of center James Wiseman and wing Isaac Okoro.

While there are understandably some holes in his game, Edwards is still considered the best out of the lot.

“Scouts would like to have seen more efficiency and defensive intensity, but when he was fully engaged, he looked like the clear No. 1 pick. In a draft that lacks starpower at the top, Edwards has arguably the most complete resume and should be considered the front-runner to hear his name called first,” ESPN wrote.

Apart from Young and James, Edwards will be joining Ben Simmons, Anthony Davis, Eric Bledsoe, Draymond Green, John Wall, among others in Klutch.
