Bleacher Report’s “Game of Zones” just released a special edition that features former U.S. President Barack Obama as the “defender of rational thought.” He makes it known to everyone that former Philadelphia 76ers general manager Sam Hinkie was correct in using analytics to build a winning team.

GoZ, the popular “Game of Thrones” parody web series that reimagines the NBA and its players in GoT settings, released a new episode that also features TNT’s “Inside the NBA” host Charles Barkley who has been known to prefer the traditional way of building championship teams.

In the episode, we see Barkley and others looking to burn Hinkie at the stake.

The Boston Celtics’ Kyrie Irving is also in the episode as someone who believes that the earth is flat and makes a case for his belief, too.

Obama enters the picture just before Hinkie gets burned alive as he brings the former GM to the MIT Sloan Sports Analytics Conference.

If you watch the video closely, you’ll recognize some of the more prominent NBA personalities in the crowd.

Hinkie asked Sixers fans years ago to “Trust the Process,” a rebuilding plan that included tanking a few NBA seasons in order to acquire high draft picks that could net them a superstar or two from the NBA Draft. He didn’t get to finish the process, however, as he was eventually fired.

Perhaps Hinkie was right since the Sixers now have Joel Embiid and Ben Simmons on their roster, two franchise-type players who are helping the team make a strong playoff push this season.
