Milwaukee Bucks head coach Mike Budenholzer and Oklahoma City Thunder head coach Billy Donovan have been named the NBA's East and West Coaches of the Month, respectively, for December.

The Bucks went 13-2 in December, while the Thunder went 11-4:

Just like last season, the Bucks and Mike Budenholzer have the best record in the NBA. Milwaukee is 31-5 on the season. Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo is averaging 30.4 points, 13.0 rebounds and 5.6 assists on the season and shooting 55.6 percent from the field, 33.1 percent from beyond the arc and 59.9 percent from the free-throw line.

Most pundits have Milwaukee and the Sixers meeting in the Eastern Conference Finals. That would be a fun seven-game series to watch, especially since Antetokounmpo and Sixers center Joel Embiid are two of the best players in the NBA.

Milwaukee and Mike Budenholzer will need point guard Eric Bledsoe and small forward Khris Middleton to play at a high-level once the playoffs start and be effective second and third options on offense behind Giannis to reach the Finals and ultimately win the championship.

The Thunder, led by Chris Paul, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Dennis Schroder and Steven Adams, are 18-15 on the season. They have surprised a lot of people with their competitive play despite losing superstars Russell Westbrook and Paul George in the offseason. It points to how good of a coach Billy Donovan is.
