Offseason workout fiend Dwyane Wade was back hitting the courts early alongside All-Star swingman Paul George on Labor Day in Malibu, California — as seen from his Instagram post on Monday.

Both of these players have been linked to the Los Angeles Lakers, with Wade recently drawing eyes after a source close to him said Miami and Los Angeles were among his post-buyout destinations.

George has been linked to the Lakers tracking all the way back from last season, as he was previously expected to opt out and join the purple and gold next offseason.

The Lakers have been preparing accordingly, signing free agents to only one-year deals, clearing the books in order to have a massive cap space to sign key figures like LeBron James, George, and possibly even Wade.

Wade has been seen on the court with the likes of Tim Hardaway Jr. and former teammate Jimmy Butler, most recently — which could make this just another workout between the 12-time All-Star and his “favorite player in the league” — according to his Instagram caption.

Los Angeles is bound to attract plenty of big-time free agents due not only to its off-the-court appeal, but due to the inclusion of president Magic Johnson, a player-friendly executive and an insightful basketball mind that knows a thing or two about winning at the NBA level.
