After a long wait, Chris Webber has finally been elected into the NBA Hall of Fame as part of the 2021 class. After the induction, he joined ESPN and had a conversation with former Michigan Fab Five teammate Jalen Rose who congratulated him on the greatest honor in basketball lore. Watch the clip and try to hold back your tears.

The childhood teammates who played together when they were 13 years old went to college together and had an improbable run with the famous Fab Five. However, the relationship between Rose and Webber took a hit after a scandal involving Webber from his time at Michigan.

Nonetheless, the two rekindled, and Rose gave some powerful words after Webber's enshrinement into the Hall of Fame with a class that included Kobe Bryant, Tim Duncan, Chris Bosh, Ben Wallace, and Paul Pierce, among others.

Webber, a five-time All-Star and five-time All-NBA selection had been out of the league since 2008 and had been passed on several times for the Hall of Fame. He was the first overall pick in the 1993 NBA Draft and went on to have a storied NBA career, as did Rose.

He was the NBA Rookie of the Year in 1994 and his number 4 jersey will forever hang in the rafters with the Sacramento Kings legends. His exclusion in the previous Hall of Fame classes was a bit of a question mark. Either way, he finally gets in.

Regardless, it's refreshing and reassuring to see Jalen Rose and Chris Webber reconnect and on national television after all these years.
