For your typical NBA player, it's not everyday that you get to dunk on an opponent. It's even a less common occurrence that you get to posterize a noteworthy name in the league. Well, just imagine placing Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James on the wrong end of a highlight-reel slam — surely this is a memory that will last a lifetime.

This is exactly the case for former NBA journeyman Jordan Crawford. The 6-foot-4 combo guard, who spent last season in China with the Sichuan Blue Whales, recently took a trip on memory lane as he so vividly recalled the moment he victimized the great LeBron James on what is easily one of the most memorable moments in Crawford's career.

In 2009, Crawford, who was then a sophomore from Xavier University, was a participant in The LeBron James Skills Academy in Akron, Ohio. In one of the late-night pickup games, the youngster got the chance to play against James himself. The rest, as they say, is history, and thanks to an amateur video from a spectator, Crawford's moment would be immortalized.

Now on the 10th anniversary of that infamous dunk, Crawford recalls how things quickly escalated following his monstrous poster jam.

“I didn’t think it was a big deal,” Crawford says now, via Ryan Jones of Uproxx. “until I got back to my room that night and people who weren’t even there were already hitting me on my phone.”

Not too many people can say that they dunked on LeBron James, but for Crawford, this is something he can add to his resume, and certainly a memory he can hold onto forever.
