Lance Stephenson hasn't played in the NBA since he was with LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers for the 2018-19 season. Yet, he's still just 30-years-old. Now, he's trying to make a comeback to the league.

Per Chris Haynes of Yahoo, Lance Stephenson is set to hold a private workout in Las Vegas on Friday. The Milwaukee Bucks, Denver Nuggets, Philadelphia 76ers and Brooklyn Nets will all have representatives on hand for the workout.

Lance Stephenson bounced around the league during his 9-year career playing for the Pacers, Hornets, Clippers Grizzlies, Pelicans, Timberwolves and the Lakers. He had two separate stints with Indiana.

Even though he hasn't played in the NBA since the 2018-19 season, it's possible that Stephenson could still provide some veteran defense with the ability to hold his own offensively as well.

It should come as no surprise that the four teams attending the private workout are all contending teams with title aspirations for next season. If any of the Bucks, Nuggets, 76ers or Nets are impressed today and believe that Stephenson could warrant a roster spot, it will almost certainly be on the cheap. Stephenson is just trying to get back in the league so he isn't exactly operating from a point of leverage.

Bundled altogether throughout his career, Lance Stephenson has averaged 8.6 points per game to go along with 4.2 rebounds and 2.9 assists per contest. He's most known for his aggressive style of defense and his trash talking to his opponents. We'll wait and see if his workout is good enough to earn a contract and a gig back into the NBA.
