The conversation surrounding Houston Rockets star James Harden and where he should be traded has reached the likes of LaVar Ball. Even though he fully supports Harden potentially forcing his way out of Texas, Ball doesn't want the All-Star guard to join the New Orleans Pelicans or the Charlotte Hornets.

Of course, Lonzo Ball has been a member of the Pelicans since last season when the Los Angeles Lakers traded him as part of a package for Anthony Davis. Lonzo is one of the main ball-handlers in New Orleans and if Harden were to join the Pelicans, Lonzo's role would be mitigated a decent bit.

At the same time, LaMelo Ball is in his rookie season with the Hornets after being taken with the No. 3 overall pick in the 2020 NBA Draft. LaMelo became one of the first rookies in NBA history that were taken in the top-three picks — first since Otto Porter in 2013 — to score zero points in his NBA debut.

In his debut against the Cleveland Cavaliers, LaMelo had one rebound, three assists, and three turnovers while missing all five of his field-goal attempts. Despite his son's struggles in his debut, LaVar is adamant that LaMelo should be starting for the Hornets already.

Luckily for LaVar, the Pelicans and Hornets haven't been teams that have been rumored to have interest in Harden.

It remains to be seen where Harden lands as he continues to create a fiasco between himself and the Houston Rockets. While he doesn't have much to say about Harden's trade situation, LaVar wants The Beard to stay far away from his clan's affairs.
