The NBA released the first half of the 2020-21 season schedule and there is a slew of must-watch matchups on the docket. While it isn't between two contending teams, Lonzo Ball and LaMelo Ball will face one another when the New Orleans Pelicans and the Charlotte Hornets meet on Jan. 8 (via Yahoo Sports NBA).

Last month, LaMelo Ball was selected with the No. 3 overall pick in the 2020 NBA Draft by the Hornets. When LaMelo achieved his dream of hearing his name called on draft night, Lonzo issued a warning to his younger brother for when they first meet.

It just so happens that the NBA won't make fans wait long to see the two brothers square off on the hardwood this season. On Jan. 8, the Pelicans and Hornets are slated to play against one another, pitting the Ball brothers against each other.

Also, LiAngelo Ball recently signed an NBA contract with the Detroit Pistons, meaning that all three Ball brothers are in the league. Regardless of what people continue to say about LaVar Ball, he's now produced three kids who have gotten to the NBA.

Even with LaMelo being a rookie, the Hornets will likely have him play a decent amount of minutes. And when he's on the floor, Charlotte is going to want him to handle the ball for the majority of their possessions.

Given that, we'll likely get plenty of situations where Lonzo is guarding his younger brother on the defensive end. Now with his sons getting a chance to face one another, it remains to be seen who LaVar is rooting for in the first matchup between Lonzo and LaMelo.
