Luka Doncic, Nikola Jokic, Goran Dragic, and Nikola Vucevic were part of a special gathering on Thursday during an extraordinary week in NBA history.

The NBA bubble has been able to bring players from different teams (and countries) together. It has given these players an opportunity to connect and reach out to one another. This was in full effect again Thursday night as some of the best European talents were seen sharing a table inside the Walt Disney World campus.

As tweeted by Miami Heat guard Goran Dragic, it was a Balkan reunion. Dragic was reunited with fellow NBA standouts from the Balkan Peninsula. Dragic was joined by Luka Doncic and Boban Marjanovic from the Dallas Mavericks, as well as Nikola Jokic and Vlatko Cancar of the Denver Nuggets and Nikola Vucevic of the Orlando Magic.

How's that for starting unit for ā€œTeam Balkanā€?

Dragic, Luka Doncic and Cancar are all from Slovenia while Marjanovic and Jokic are both from neighboring Serbia. Vucevic, on the other hand, hails from Montenegro. Add in Bosnian Jusuf Nurkic of the Portland Trail Blazers and Croatian Ivica Zubac of the Los Angeles Clippers as well and you'll have an unstoppable Balkan team inside the Orlando Bubble. Considering that Latvia is also part of the peninsula, Doncic's teammate Kristaps Porzingis will be eligible to join the squad. Now that's one scary team.

Last night's Balkan dinner was one of the more light moments over the past few days in the NBA as the league still reels from the playoff strike over the shooting of Jacob Blake, an African-American who was shot seven times by police officers in Wisconsin. Luka Doncic and the rest of the players in Orlando are expected to resume the playoffs over the weekend.
