With Wednesday’s emergency meeting failing to deliver a unified stance between the NBA teams and players in the bubble, a second meeting has reportedly been scheduled for Thursday morning.

ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski and Malika Andrews made the report via Twitter:

Woj also added that the meeting is set to take place at 11 A.M:

It is unclear if the players and the teams will be on the call with the NBA’s Board of Governors, but given how both meetings have been scheduled at the same time, it would probably be safe to assume the same.

Following the suspension of all three games slated for Wednesday, the teams held an emergency meeting to discuss the next steps they need to take. A vote was made as to whether or not the teams were going to boycott the remainder of the season altogether, and reports state that only the Los Angeles Lakers and the Los Angeles Clippers voted in favor of this notion. The rest of the teams want to see out the rest of the playoffs at this point, and clearly, no consensus was reached.

Hopefully, Thursday’s second meeting turns out to be more productive. In the end, the teams may opt to vote for or against the cancellation of the season. However, it is important that they come out with a united front here. The last thing anybody wants is for this issue to divide the players and the teams, who have all brought forth an admirably concerted effort in fighting against systemic racism up to this point.
