Retired four-time All-Star forward Shawn Marion is the proud owner of a rather unorthodox jump shot. Recently, former NBA journeyman Quentin Richardson took a shot at Marion's jumper, saying that he thought Marion's form was downright “ugly.”

Not to be outdone, Marion decided to respond to Richardson's jab. According to Marion, Richardson's jumper isn't as pretty as he thinks it is.

Just for the sake of it, let's do a quick comparison. First here's Richardson's epic performance during the 2005 All-Star 3-Point Contest. Check out his shooting form (and his shorts as well). Note that he made the final nine shots of his set to emerge as the 3-Point Contest champ that year.

Now here's Shawn Marion's version:

Clearly, Marion has the uglier form between them. He actually has one of the worst jump shots of all time, so there's actually no contest. However, do you think Marion is right in also calling out Richardson? Both were excellent shooters during their day, but to be fair to Marion, he seems to have a bit of a point here with his counter-punch against Richardson.

What is undeniable is that this was a pretty funny exchange between them about two not-so-pretty jump shots.

Since we're on the subject of ugly jump shots, then we deemed it worthy to throw in a couple more. How about Michael Kidd-Gilchrist?

If you though that was bad, take a look at Joakim Noah.

That's that. We've had our fun. Say what you want about their jumpers, but there's no denying that these are some of the best basketball players that have ever lived. After all, they wouldn't have played in the NBA if they weren't.
