Some of the NBA's top rookies were recently put in a very tight spot by our friends from Complex Sports. The youngsters were asked a non-basketball-related question pertaining to some of the top hip-hop artists in the industry today.

Among Kendrick Lamar, J. Cole, and Drake, newcomers such as Zion Williamson and RJ Barrett were asked who they'd choose among the trio in an interesting game of “one gotta go.”

New Orleans Pelicans rookie phenom Zion Williamson had the most colorful reaction among the group, and he even went to some length in trying to explain his answer. The 19-year-old is obviously a fan of rap music, and much like his other fellow rookies, Zion struggled to come up with a straight answer to this rather perplexing riddle.

At the end of the day, though, Kendrick Lamar was selected by all of the participants as the odd man out, leaving both J. Cole and Drake in the running. Lamar is a multiple Grammy Award-winning artist, so this random ranking does not by any means necessarily put either J. Cole or Drake above him in the pecking order.

And while we're on the subject of rankings, the decision on this year's overall top draft pick was not at all as difficult as the question presented above. Williamson, with his freakish combination of size and athleticism, was the consensus first overall pick, and there was never really any doubt that the Pelicans were going to select him with their first pick as soon as it was announced that the team had surprisingly won the lottery.
