The Philadelphia 76ers are aiming towards their first playoff appearance since 2012 on the backs of Ben Simmons as well as Joel Embiid. While the Sixers had as solid team to start the season, they have been also been extremely active on the buyout market so far as well.

Philadelphia agreed to terms on a deal with shooting guard Marco Belinelli, who was bought out by the Atlanta Hawks after the team couldn't find a trade parter for the Italian veteran at the February 8th trade deadline.

Now, it appears the Sixers are going to add another seasoned veteran in recently-bought out forward Ersan Ilyasova. The Turkish forward was also recently bought out by the Hawks, and Shams Charania of The Vertical reports that the 76ers are closing in on deal with the 10-year veteran.

Ilyasova averaged 10.9 points, 5.5 rebounds, 1.1 assists, and 1.0 steal per game in 46 appearances with the Hawks this season (40 starts). Ilyasova now joins the Sixers for the second time in the last two years; he played 53 games with the Sixers to start the 2016-17 season before being traded to the Hawks.

The addition of Ilyasova gives the Sixers a career 36.6-percent three-point shooter at power forward behind stretch-four man Dario Saric.

The 76ers next game will be on Tuesday night against the Miami Heat, but it's unclear if Ilyasova will be available for that game.
