A Pippen-Jordan reunion took place ahead of ESPN's broadcast of the LA Clippers-Los Angeles Lakers Christmas duel. Even LeBron James joined the party as Michael B. Jordan, the actor, sat beside Chicago Bulls icon Scottie Pippen. After all, James grew up watching the Bulls' idolized Michael Jordan — the player.

The two bumped fists like good buddies. Even Paul Pierce and Rachel Nichols couldn't contain their excitement.

The meeting, no matter how one looks at it, will certainly form part of history. It's the next best thing to the actual Pippen-Jordan reunion that most fans want to see.
