This season, Atlanta Hawks point guard has been one of the most electric rookies in the entire NBA. He has overcome a slow start to the season and is now giving the struggling Hawks a reason for optimism.
With shots like this, it isn't hard to get optimistic. Via Kevin Chouinard, who covers the Hawks for NBA.com:

Some of his Atlanta teammates were shooting around, warming up prior to Thursday night's home game against the New York Knicks. But Young appeared to be taking a break and chatting with some coaches.
Until he decided to drain a three from the end of the bench.

On the season, Young is averaging 16.9 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 7.6 assists while shooting 40.8 percent from the field. The 20-year-old was the fifth overall selection in the 2018 draft out of the University of Oklahoma.
It's a good thing Young is finding a way to have some fun, because Atlanta hasn't had much of it during games. The team is 19-38 entering play Thursday, the fourth-worst record in the Eastern Conference and the fifth-worst in all of basketball.
Prior to this tough year, the Hawks made the playoffs in ten consecutive seasons. The farthest they made it in that span was when they were swept in the Conference Finals by the Cleveland Cavaliers to end their 2014-15 season.
Meanwhile, the team they face Thursday night, the New York Knicks, have been NBA's worst team. They have won only ten games all season. The two teams tip off at 7:30 P.M. EST.
