Despite having a solid season with the Boston Celtics thus far, Dennis Schroder may be on the move once again.
With the Celtics looking to shake things up and plenty of teams still needing quality point guard play, Schroder may benefit from playing on a new team. As we dive deeper into another drama-filled NBA season, it can definitely be expected that there will be a ton of teams showing interest in Schroder.
Plus with Schroder only being on a one-year deal with Boston, he won't be too costly for teams to take a chance on. He'd certainly be a make-or-break deal for contending teams in need of some backcourt depth.
So without further ado, let's now discuss the three best trade destinations for two-way stud Dennis Schroder.
Dennis Schroder Trade Destinations
3. Brooklyn Nets
With the continued uncertainty around Kyrie Irving's return this season and Joe Harris out injured, the Brooklyn Nets have been playing with a relatively thin backcourt rotation. Adding the veteran guard would give them a defensive-minded facilitator that can score in a variety of ways. Plus playing alongside Kevin Durant, James Harden, LaMarcus Aldridge and Patty Mills, Schroder would fill a major void for Brooklyn and add to their already explosive roster.

His high-IQ playmaking and elite defensive presence would both lessen KD and Harden's offensive load while giving them a reliable perimeter defender. He may not be the superstar talent that Irving is, but his versatile skillset would undoubtedly make him a major asset for Brooklyn.
2. New York Knicks
Now that Kemba Walker has officially been taken out of their rotation, the New York Knicks are in dire need of more production at the point guard spot.

As a sound scorer and a scrappy defender, Schroder would thrive under the direction of head coach Tom Thibodeau while giving the Knicks quality backcourt depth. While they continue searching for ways to climb out the bottom of tier of the Eastern Conference, the New York Knicks would definitely benefit from the addition of Schroder.

1. Philadelphia 76ers
Still looking to move past all the Ben Simmons drama and doing well in spite of that, the Philadelphia 76ers are another team that could do well with Schroder in their starting line-up. His two-way production is something that Doc Rivers would be very fond of.
Furthermore, adding another high quality combo guard to a rotation that currently features Seth Curry, Tyrese Maxey, and Shake Milton would definitely be a welcome addition for the Sixers.

Currently sitting at the sixth spot in the Eastern Conference, Schroder would undoubtedly do wonders for the Sixers and take some of the offensive playmaking load off of Joel Embiid while bringing adding another savvy defender to their deep and dynamic roster. This move wouldn't necessarily be a game-changer for Philly, but it would give them another solution at point guard in lieu of the seemingly endless Simmons saga.
