The Boston Celtics take on the Cleveland Cavaliers Friday, and the team will be without center Al Horford and swingman Jaylen Brown.

Brown is dealing with a lower right back injury, while the Celtics are just resting Horford.

Jaylen Brown has played 19 games this season and is averaging 11.1 points, 4.1 rebounds and 1.3 assists per game. The 22-year-old is shooting 39.8 percent from the field, 25.3 percent from beyond the arc and 62.2 percent from the free-throw line.

Al Horford has played in 20 games this season. The five-time All-Star is averaging 12.0 points, 6.3 rebounds and 3.5 assists while shooting 47.3 percent from the field, 34.6 percent from the 3-point line and 66.7 percent from the charity stripe.

The Celtics are 11-10 on the season, sixth place in the Eastern Conference. Boston was picked by many to be the best team in the East this year, but so far, it has been a struggle for the Celtics, who are averaging only 107.1 points per game. That's 23rd in the NBA.

Playing the lowly Cavs should help the C's get their rhythm. Cleveland is 4-16 on the season and just traded their best shooter, Kyle Korver, to the Utah Jazz. Boston will look for its second win in a row without the services of Brown.
