Walker, a three-time All-Star, is finally getting the recognition he deserves. He spent his first eight years in the NBA with the Charlotte Hornets. Although he put up great numbers there, the team just wasn't too good to win. As such, Walker was merely seen as a good player.

Now, Walker is embarking on a new chapter with the Celtics. So far, the partnership has been working extremely well. Boston currently sports a 17-5 record for second place in the East.

Walker is undoubtedly that one piece who is responsible for the Celtics' improvement. Gone are the days when the Beantown team, despite being considered one of the most loaded and talented teams in the league, fail to close out games. Now, the Stevens-led squad is maximizing their potential.

When games get too close for comfort, Walker is there to close it out.
