With the NBA All-Star game on the horizon, coaches around the league are preparing to put forth their choices for All-Star reserves. For Boston Celtics head coach Brad Stevens, he will apparently make his decisions based on âfear factor:â

Indeed, there are many reasons in which to vote for a player in the All-Star game. And fear is certainly a good one â especially if youâre an opposing coach.
According to the most recent fan voting, some of the best players in the league are getting snubbed due to the fickle nature of popular opinion. For example, the constant coverage of Alex Caruso has led to the Lakersâ backup guard ranking sixth in Western Conference voting among guards.
In the East, many of Stevensâs players are in the running for All-Star berths simply based on fan voting alone. That includes the likes of the Celtics' Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown, Kemba Walker and Gordon Hayward. Perhaps the most surprising inclusion on Stevens' team is Tacko Fall. The immense center who is currently signed to a two-way contract with the Celtics.
For Stevens, there are surely many Eastern Conference players that scare him. The conference is littered with terrific players, many of which the Câs will likely face off against in the playoffs. That includes the teamâs mortal enemies in the Philadelphia 76ers as well as frequent postseason foe the Milwaukee Bucks.
The Bucks currently boast the leading vote-getter in the Eastern Conference in Giannis Antetokounmpo.
