With the 2017 NFL season starting soon, teams have been very busy in their training camps as they continue their build up for opening day. It also gives NBA players a chance to watch them practice live, especially now in their summer breaks.

Isaiah Thomas was recently spotted as a spectator with his kids during the New England Patriots-Jacksonville Jaguars joint practice at Gillette Stadium. He did not shy away from appearing to be a fan of the New England team, as he was seen wearing a hoodie with their logo on it. It also looked like they had a good time, even when they attracted the crowd. It was not hard to distinguish him, being a two-time NBA All-Star and one of the most popular sports figures in Beantown these days:

The 5-foot-9 point guard was even welcomed by Patriots owner Robert Kraft, who he had a quick chat in the sunny afternoon:

Despite growing up in Washington, Thomas has expressed his love for Boston since landing with the Celtics back in 2015. He’s also had a good relationship with some of the Patriots players, like Tom Brady. The two started their friendship last year when the star quarterback helped the Celtics in recruiting Kevin Durant.

Although they were not successful in bringing him to the team, it showed how committed they are to improving the team and that Brady also wants to improve professional sports in the city.
