Boston Celtics shooting guard Jaylen Brown could rejoin his teammates as soon as Wednesday or Thursday, when the team will travel for a matchup against Kemba Walker's former team, the Charlotte Hornets, according to ESPN's Tim Bontemps.
Brown won't initially travel for the team's three-game road trip, as they're set to face the Cleveland Cavaliers on Tuesday, but could rejoin them shortly after that. The fourth-year wing has been dealing with an illness and an infection for the past week, which has made way for sixth man Marcus Smart to rejoin the starting lineup.
The Celtics are riding a four-game win streak after losing the season opener against the Philadelphia 76ers, looking to make an early dent in the Eastern Conference as they jell with a new roster.
