Things got quite testy in Game 1 between the Brooklyn Nets and Boston Celtics. Jayson Tatum clearly took exception to Kevin Durant getting away with some excessive contact.

Instead, the Celtics star was the one who got called for a foul on KD's drive. Check out the play below for yourself:

Looking at it from a different angle, Kevin Durant definitely didn't hold back in his physicality against the Celtics' franchise star. Tatum does have a legitimate gripe on this play, especially with the inconsistency of the fouls being called on him instead.

Fans were quick to goof on the matter, noting that the calls against Tatum have been ridiculous. In a game that the Celtics led for most of the way, these sorts of calls can shift momentum entirely.

The Celtics were in control of the game early, going up by double-digits in the second quarter. But Kevin Durant and the Nets turned the tide in the third quarter and took the win in the end, 104-93. KD had 32 points, while Kyrie Irving and James Harden had 29 and 21 points, respectively.

Jayson Tatum was probably extra frustrated given that he was having a rough outing in Game 1. His 22 points came from an inefficient 6-for-20 shooting from the floor. The Celtics will get their shot at revenge on Tuesday night.
