Kemba Walker's college coach, Jim Calhoun, says the All-Star guard is very hungry to win with the Boston Celtics.
Calhoun visited the Celtics' practice on Wednesday. He and Walker won a NCAA championship at UConn and spoke over the summer about Kemba's free agency decision.
Calhoun claims all Walker wants to do is win and compete at the highest level every night.

“I know talking to him the end of last season, ‘What’s going to make your mind up? Because it’s your decision, certainly not anybody else’s.’ And we talk a lot, and he says, ‘Winning. I want to win. I’m at that point in my career. God’s been good, and I’ve made money, but I want to win.’”
Kemba Walker has career averages of 19.8 points, 3.8 rebounds and 5.5 assists in 605 games. He put up 25.6 points and 5.9 assists last season with the Charlotte Hornets.
Walker went to the playoffs twice with the Hornets. The main reason he signed with the Celtics is he believes he can go on a deep postseason run in Boston.
