There's no denying that the Boston Celtics' championship-winning side from the 2007-08 season has gone down in history as one of the most memorable teams in franchise history. It also happens to be one of the most controversial Celtics squads ever, considering how much beef the players had with each other.

Former Celtics big man Kendrick Perkins recently opened up about the highly-publicized spat between Ray Allen and Rajon Rondo. According to Big Perk, it all started when Rondo found out that Allen wanted to get him traded for Chris Paul. Their feud escalated to such an intense level that the team had to take extreme measures to try and appease the situation:

“We made Ray and Rondo actually box it out,” Perkins said on a recent episode of JJ Redick's The Old Man & the Three podcast. “They had so much beef. We got to the practice facility, we bought the boxing gloves, and they actually had to box it out.”

If there's any footage of that boxing match out there then I would love to see it. So would every other NBA fan, I assume.

Perkins did say that everything's been settled now and that everyone's on “speaking terms.” That's all well and good, but I still need to see that fight.
