Boston Celtics star point guard Kyrie Irving is one confident guy.

Despite losing to the lowly Chicago Bulls on Saturday at the United Center, Irving told reporters after the game he's not worried at all and is confident no team will beat the Celtics once the playoffs start.

The Bulls are one of the worst teams in the NBA, and yet they had their way with the Celtics on Saturday, as Chicago won by a final score of 126-116.

With the loss, Boston dropped to 37-23 on the season. They remain in the fifth spot in the Eastern Conference standings.

It sounds like Kyrie Irving believes the Celtics can turn on some magical switch once the postseason starts. It's been done before and Irving is one of the most gifted scorers in the league, so it wouldn't shock anyone to see Boston go on a deep playoff run.

However, this Celtics team is the definition of inconsistent. One night they look like the most dominant team in the East, and then the next night they lose to a team like the Bulls, who entered Saturday with just 15 wins.

Boston went to Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Finals last season. With Irving and Gordon Hayward back in the fold, the Celtics were the preseason favorites to win the Eastern Conference, but this season has been anything but smooth in Beantown.
