According to Nicole Yang of Boston.com, when asked where he'll be in 20, 30 years, Irving said:
“I don’t know if you guys will see me. I’ll probably be in 800 acres in Texas in the middle of nowhere. Off the grid in a self-sustaining community, just living with no power. Like this is fun and all, but technology is just killing me, man.”
You and me both, Kyrie. Technology is killing all of us. So much so that JJ Redick recently ditched social media entirely. For professional athletes, the constant spotlight must be mentally draining. It's no wonder that Kyrie envisions a quiet life when his playing days are over.
