Philadelphia 76ers star Joel Embiid resorted to his usual trash talk in hopes to pull off a win at home against the Boston Celtics. Throughout Game 4, Embiid went hard at Marcus Morris, often pointing to his head after every score — a nod that he had gotten inside the Philly native's head. Morris responded with his three outer fingers, closing an “O” with the other two, symbolizing the 3-0 lead the Celtics held in the Eastern Conference semifinals series over the Sixers.
Bound to return to the TD Garden for Game 5 after sustaining a 103-92 loss in the road, Morris vows to have more hell coming Embiid's way.
“S**t, I'm ready to go now,” Morris said, according to ESPN's Chris Forsberg. “They had a lot to say in here. They did what they're supposed to do. They got one. S**t, we did what we're supposed to do, we got one [on the road]. So we'll go back 3-1 and hopefully we put it away.”
In only two years in the league, Embiid has developed a reputation for being a trash-talker, but he's likely met his match with a veteran like Morris, who won't let his words fly unless they're justified.

“Because it's reality,” said Morris. “It's hard because I know I wouldn't say a damn word if I was down 3-1. But, hey, we're all different. So it is what it is.”
The Celtics will get their next crack at the Sixers on Wednesday, once again in home confines, hoping to wrap up the series and secure another tilt against the Cleveland Cavaliers.
