After their humiliating defeat at the hands of the Toronto Raptors, Boston Celtics guard Marcus Smart spoke about the play which featured him shouting furiously at Jaylen Brown after the latter failed to take advantage of a fastbreak opportunity.
Per Brian Robb of Boston Sports Journal, Smart downplayed the incident.

Below is the said play. The Celtics had a chance to score a fastbreak basket. It was a three-against-two situation with Marcus Smart wide open for a short corner three; however, Jaylen Brown decided to take matters into his own hands against two defenders.
Article Continues BelowThe end was catastrophic, as Brown was called for an offensive foul while Smart was left hanging in the corner. Given that Smart is shooting at a career-best from downtown (35.4 percent), the shot would've likely gone in.

This might be one of the rumored lack of off-court closeness among the Celtics trickling over to on-court action. Various reports have revealed that as a team, Boston doesn't really have a tight bond. And for those who know a thing or two about basketball, it is a team sport. Everyone has to establish a certain degree of chemistry both on and off the court.
Though Smart implied that he's happy that the worst is now over, maybe it's best for him to approach Brown and smooth things out.
