After a degrading loss to the Toronto Raptors on Tuesday on national television, Boston Celtics guard Marcus Smart didn't mince words when he met with reporters in the postgame locker room.

Boston got blown out by the Raptors, losing by a final score of 118-95. The Celtics were outscored 36-13 in the second quarter and were never able to recover from that.

Smart, who finished with five points, four rebounds and two assists in 24 minutes, says the team is not together right now on either side of the floor.

Lack of chemistry has been an issue for Boston all season. There's no doubt the team is talented, but the players just can't seem to co-exist on the basketball floor for 48 minutes.

At times, it looks like the players don't even want to be on the court with each other. It's a total opposite of last season, when the Celtics played with joy and for each other. The word “selfish” has been brought up a lot this season in the Boston locker room.

Things won't get any easier from here. The Celtics take on the Portland Trail Blazers on Wednesday. They need to figure things out as soon as possible, or else they are going to drop in the Eastern Conference standings.
