The Boston Celtics called yet another meeting after a loss to the white-hot San Antonio Spurs, one that now has the Celtics at four straight losses and once again letting the chance for a fourth seed slip from their grasp. Much like the majority of this season, the Celtics' road has been full of ups and downs, and Marcus Smart is the first to acknowledge it.

“I know we’ve been here plenty of times before saying the exact same thing: ‘We’re gonna get it, we’re not worried about it’ — but we can’t put extra extra extra stress and more weight on ourselves,” Smart said after a 115-96 loss to the visiting San Antonio Spurs, according to Chris Forsberg of NBC Sports Boston.

Boston has had a tough go, losing to the Denver Nuggets on the road, the Philadelphia 76ers and the Charlotte Hornets on the road, and now to the Spurs at home — now two full games behind the starless Indiana Pacers for the fourth seed — team they might be matching up against in the first round of the playoffs.

As far as what was discussed in the meeting, Smart was brief in discussing it.

“We were just watching film of what we could have done better, he said. “Guys were all chiming in on this and that rotation, or what we could do differently. We’re moving in the right direction.”

The Celtics don't have much time to play with, as only eight games remain to do a final tune-up before the real season starts up for them.
