The All-NBA Team selections made waves on Tuesday, not because of the superstars selected into it but because of the players that were snubbed. Among those who didn't make it are Boston Celtics forward Jayson Tatum and Utah Jazz guard Donovan Mitchell, which Paul Pierce didn't take well.

A day after the announcement was made, Pierce took to Twitter to rip the NBA and question the credibility of the All-NBA team  selection. The Celtics icon then went on to suggest that since the NBA is already position-less, it should also be removed from the All-NBA voting and just pick the best of the best regardless if they are point guards or centers.

“Take nothing away from guys who made all-nba teams but when Tatum and Donovan Mitchell don’t make an all NBA team something gotta change stop putting positions on who make it doesn’t matter top guys regardless of position should make it,” the one-time Celtics champion wrote.

For those not in the know, Luka Doncic, Nikola Jokic, Stephen Curry, Giannis Antetokounmpo and Kawhi Leonard made it to the First Team. Meanwhile, LeBron James, Chris Paul Joel Embiid, Damian Lillard and Julius Randle were in the Second Team.

For the Third Team, it was comprised of Kyrie Irving, Bradley Beal, Paul George, Jimmy Butler and Rudy Gobert.

Sure enough, a lot of big names were missing aside from the Celtics and Jazz stars. For one, Devin Booker could be said as one of the biggest snubs, especially since he is the best player in one of the best teams during the 2020-21 season.

Even Kevin Durant and James Harden didn't make it!

Sure enough, Paul Pierce has a good point. For one, people could argue that Jayson Tatum and Donovan Mitchell had a better season than Butler or Randle. However, since the options are limited by position, some of the best players are snubbed.

It remains to be seen if something will change in this regard, but with the recent criticisms, it's possible the NBA may address it or make some changes
