When Terry Rozier was taken with the 16th pick in the 2015 draft the Boston Celtics had high hopes for what he could turn into.

He hadn't lived up to the expectations and there was some doubt if Rozier was going to be a part of the team in future years. Last year with the Celtics he was only averaging 17.1 minutes and 5.5 points. He just couldn't seem to find his rhythm or his spot with the team.

When Kyrie Irving went down with his injury many questioned exactly who would step up and fill in during his absence. Talk around the national media was about how doomed the Celtics were without Irving and how they had no shot in the playoffs.

What people didn't know was that this was just the opportunity that Rozier needed to show exactly what he was all about. He has started all nine playoff games this year for the Celtics averaging 19.1 points, 6.9 assists and 5.0 rebounds per game. He is shooting 44 percent from the field, and 43 percent from deep. One of the big changes has been his shooting from deep and the improvements in those areas. When he was just a reserve he didn't do a great job shooting from downtown.

For the Celtics success, the most important has been his play during the 4th quarter. According to Second Spectrum Rozier has had 193 touches so far this year in the postseason. During that time he hasn't had a turnover and has an effective field goal percentage of 90 percent.

If the Celtics want to keep up their success, they are going to need Rozier to keep up this type of play during the 4th quarters.
