While he was not very mobile in the video, there is certainly some bounce in his stroke. As a result, more speculation has been raised about whether or not Hayward could potentially return this season.

Although he has been optimistic about seeing the hardwood this season, Boston will likely wait until he is 100 percent healthy before even considering it. Fortunately, they have the benefit of giving Gordon as long as he needs to make a full recovery. Despite their recent struggles, the Celtics have still maintained their stronghold atop the Eastern Conference.

Realistically, Boston could wait until second round if they really needed to with the lack of competition in the floundering East. However, Gordon will still need time to get assimilated the offense, especially if they are to have a shot at dethroning the Cleveland Cavaliers.
