From being the last pick of the 2011 NBA draft, to playing in his first All Star game, Isaiah Thomas’ career trajectory has been very encouraging thus far.
That is why it’s no longer a surprise whenever he appears very confident when handing out comments. That tough demeanor inside his 5-foot-9 frame can’t help but stand out, because he knows that he can walk the talk.
In a recent interview with Sports Illustrated’s Andy Gray, Thomas gave out a very natural response when asked if there is any defender in the league that strikes fear in him.
“No, because nobody can guard me so it doesn’t really matter.”
It’s hard not to believe him because 22.2 points and 6.2 assists, his averages last season, back him up incredibly well.
