The Brooklyn Nets are set to take on the Washington Wizards on Sunday and they may be without one of their All-Stars.

According to ESPN's Marc Spears, James Harden is questionable to play his former teammate in Russell Westbrook on Sunday.

Harden is being designated with a questionable tag due to a left thigh contusion. Of course, with the Nets scheduled to face Westbrook—who was his teammate on the Oklahoma City Thunder and the Houston Rockets—some people are going to assume he's trying to miss the game on purpose.

When the Rockets landed Westbrook in a trade before last season, some thought Houston could contend for a title in the Western Conference. However, the pairing of Harden and Westbrook didn't go as smoothly as some expected, leading to the Rockets to blow it up and start fresh.

The offseason began with Houston trading Westbrook to Washington in exchange for John Wall. After the trade took place, ESPN's Kendrick Perkins said that Westbrook wanted out due to Harden's party tendencies off of the court. Though, it remains to be seen if Perkins' report is actually true or not.

Following Westbrook's exodus, Harden would have to wait until early in the regular season to have his trade request granted to the Nets. Harden is now joined by Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving, forming the most dynamic trio in the NBA.

In his past two games for Brooklyn, Harden has taken a facilitator role, dishing out 26 assists while turning the ball over just four times. But when the Nets face the Wizards on Sunday, Harden may be in street clothes against his former running mate in Westbrook.
