The Brooklyn Nets' Big 3 has always been a long-term play, especially with the need for the trio of Kevin Durant, James Harden and Kyrie Irving to develop chemistry and learn how to play with each other. Fortunately, it looks like they are trending in the right direction.

After the Nets' blowout 147-125 victory over the Oklahoma City Thunder on Friday, Harden talked about his developing partnership with Irving. While The Beard acknowledged that they have a lot to work on, he emphasized that they know exactly what they need to do to take that next step.

Harden also offered some massive praise for his Nets' backcourt partner, whom he called a “special” talent.

“Ky is special… We’ve just got to find that balance of when to be aggressive and when to make plays. I think even with our aggressiveness, we’re still playmakers,” James Harden said of Kyrie Irving, per Michael Scotto of Hoops Hype.

Since their back-to-back losses to the Cleveland Cavaliers, the Nets have been phenomenal behind the brilliant plays of Harden and Irving. Although their chemistry and connection are far from perfect, Brooklyn has thrived and has now won four straight games.

In their latest game against the Thunder, both Irving and Harden finished with 25 points each. For his part, Harden completed a triple-double with 10 rebounds and 11 assists.

On the other hand, Irving capped off his efficient night with five boards and seven dimes.

Although both Irving and Harden will have to re-adjust when Durant returns after resting, the improving performance of the two coupled with the Nets' winning streak are certainly good signs.
