Brooklyn Nets star Kevin Durant is not worried about the team's struggles.
Durant has never shied away from responding to tweets and Instagram comments, and he stressed patience as the Nets continue to figure out how to play together. The one-time NBA MVP replied to a fan's Instagram DM.

The Nets have come under fire amid recent struggles.
Brooklyn has lost three straight after falling to the Detroit Pistons on Tuesday night, and the team defense has been abominable. The Nets have given up at least 120 points in each of their last seven games, including 122 to a Pistons team that ranks 23rd in offensive rating.
Article Continues BelowThere were always going to be questions on that end of the floor following the acquisition of James Harden. While “The Beard” and Kyrie Irving are capable of decent defensive efforts, they are also prone to fits of inactivity. It is also worth noting the Nets gave up a top rim protector in Jarrett Allen in the four-team Harden trade, a loss that has been especially noticeable in Durant's recent absence.
Durant was pulled from Friday's loss to the Toronto Raptors due to contact tracing issues, and will not be eligible to play until Feb. 12. The two-time Finals MVP is a versatile defender who deters shots at the rim and can switch onto smaller guards. But the Nets have been spread thin without Durant. Opponents are shooting efficiently from the perimeter and scoring at the rim.
The offense has not been an issue. Harden and Irving have gelled fairly easily thus far, which bodes well for the rest of the season. However, head coach Steve Nash needs to find a way to make his guys compete harder on the defensive end.
Either way, Durant offered a similar message to that of Irving following the Pistons loss: he is not concerned.
