Brooklyn Nets superstar Kyrie Irving admitted that he's already discussed firm roles with the most recent Nets superstar addition – James Harden. Looks like that decision paid off big time, as evidenced by the Nets' dismantling of the Golden State Warriors, 134-117, at Chase Center on Saturday. The Beard beautifully orchestrated the Nets' offense, dishing out a game-high 16 assists.

Shortly after the W, Irving shared that it wasn't a hard decision to give Harden full control of the playmaking duties, while he focused on scoring the basketball.

“I feel like he’s (Harden) been doing a great job of just managing the point guard role. We established that maybe four days ago. I just looked at him and I said, ‘You're the point guard, and I'm going to play shooting guard.’ That was as simple as that,” Uncle Drew said in an interview, relayed by USA Today's Michael Sotto.

James Harden formed the league's latest Big 3 when he joined Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant in Brooklyn. There were immediate concerns about how these three supreme scorers will fare sharing one basketball.

While KD is still considered the top dog, pundits were curious who would have to sacrifice more between Irving and Harden. Looks like the one-time MVP is perfectly fine being the main facilitator for head coach Steve Nash racking up high assists numbers since moving to the Nets.

It's not like Harden isn't getting his shots either, as he still tallied 19 points on 6-for-11 shooting from the field 5-for-8 from downtown against the Dubs, to go along with his 16 assists, three rebounds, and one steal in 35 minutes. Irving, meanwhile, finished with a team-high 23 points, most of it coming from Harden's passes.

James Harden is currently leading the league in assists this season with 11.6 per game.
