The Milwaukee Bucks have secured the final playoff ticket in the Eastern Conference. And they didn't have to sweat too much to do it.

As reported by Andrew Joe Potter of The Score, the Philadelphia 76ers' 115-108 win against the Detroit Pistons, booted the latter out of playoff contention. It allowed the Bucks to clinch the final playoff spot in the East.

This marks an important turn in the franchise. This becomes their second straight playoff berth and also the first time they've qualified for the for the postseason in back-to-back seasons since 2003 and 2004. This also marks their third playoff appearance in four years.

Their final spot still depends on their own performance in the last few games as well as that of  Miami Heat and Washington Wizards. They are currently 8th spot but can finish as high as sixth in the conference.

Meanwhile, this season marks the second-straight season that the Pistons failed to qualify for the postseason. In the last nine seasons, they've only made the playoffs once.

Before qualifying for the playoffs, Jabari Parker, who has returned back healthy after a string of injuries, shared his thoughts on their impending playoff run. Since his return, he's logged in 11.9 points a game, 4.3 rebounds in 23 minutes a night. As reported by Genaro C. Armas of the Associated Press via The Washington Post:

“I’m just grateful to get to get the opportunity. That’s what means the most (in) the NBA,” the forward said after practice Wednesday. “It’s not the regular season. It’s the postseason, and that’s where you want to end up.”
