Over the weekend, Chicago Bulls fans received good news regarding the status of dynamic guard Zach LaVine as to when he might be ready to be activated for games.
According to K.C. Johnson of the Chicago Tribune, LaVine could very well be cleared for contact practice as soon as Monday afternoon when the team heads to Los Angeles.
Plan is for LaVine to visit his doctor in Los Angeles Monday morning and on track to be cleared for contact practice Monday afternoon at UCLA.

Zach LaVine is still in the process of recovering from a season-ending torn left ACL suffered last February, as Bulls head coach Fred Hoiberg is unsure of when the guard will actually be inserted into his lineup.

Acquired in the trade that sent star guard Jimmy Butler to the Minnesota Timberwolves, LaVine should end up being a bright spot in a 2017-18 Bulls season that has already gone south. Before his unfortunate injury last season, LaVine was averaging 18.9 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 3.0 assists in just 47 games.
After their game tonight against the Phoenix Suns, the Bulls will continue their four-game West Coast road trip when they take on rookie point guard Lonzo Ball and the Los Angeles Lakers on Tuesday night at Staples Center. The contest, which is scheduled to tip off shortly after 9:30 p.m. CT, will be broadcast live locally on WGN-TV and nationally on NBA TV.
