Larry Bird versus Magic Johnson. Grit and workmanlike attitude against the glitz and glamour of showtime. The Boston Celtics and the Los Angeles Lakers.

Thanks to one decade of NBA revival while leaning on two stars and cities, it's become one of the greatest rivalries in sports. Right now, however, there's love in the air.

Celtics youngster Jayson Tatum is a Kobe Bryant fan. Everybody knows it. He's such a fan that he's watched Bryant's “Detail” around 25 times as he revealed it courtside to many including Chris Forsberg of ESPN.

Well chronicled is Tatum's love for Bryant. Even in this particular video, Tatum admits Kobe was his favorite player growing up, so listening to any critique the five-time NBA champ has to offer up is something Tatum will absolutely welcome.

One specific item of note Tatum reveals was a point about his foot placement while driving to the rack. Instead of his foot pointing towards the basket, it was out of place and pointed towards halfcourt.

In getting back to real life, Tatum will have his hands full on Saturday night—despite “Detail” rolling through his basketball-rich mind.

He and his Boston Celtics are set to take on a raging LeBron James who finds he and his Cleveland Cavaliers down 2-0 in the Eastern Conference Finals.

Tip-off comes your way at 8:30 p.m. ET and can be seen on ABC/ESPN. Surely, somewhere, Jayson Tatum's favorite childhood player will be watching with a keen eye on anything the Duke product can do to improve moving forward.
